It's iPhone after all — but will it trump iPod?
Tue Jan 9, 2007
I'll be interested in seeing the SKD documentation if it is intended that 3rd party developers can develop apps or widgetd for the phone. That, and whether the OS X it's running on is really a 'pocket BSD' implementation, or closer to a 'OS X mobile edition'.
Poll: Podcasts, Netcasts, or Webcasts? Let's Decide, Folks.

Thu Oct 5, 2006
Sure, that would work, as long as you were satisfied with the resultant additional loss in sound quality that could result from a second pass through a lossy encoder.
Achtung, baby! Why DRM might kill your music collection
Thu Oct 5, 2006
There's an obvious solution for such obsolescence. And it has the interesting side effect of creating an interesting opportunity for the content providers who wish to reap the financial benefits of today's DRM-laden download market.
